In
August, a new school is opening in Northern Iraq: Bilkent International College
Erbil (BICE). The mission of Bilkent International College Erbil will be to
provide an educational gateway from the North of Iraq to the wider world.
Through its rigorous academic programs, which will include strong components of
both English and Turkish, the school will challenge students and teachers alike
to aspire to international levels of achievement. Through a supportive
environment that is socially, culturally and artistically enriching, it will
encourage all members of the school community to reach their full human
potential. BICE is being built by Bilkent University and the Ihsan Dogramaci
Erbil Foundation. The name foundation bears the name of the Founder of Bilkent
University, the late Professor Ihsan Dogramaci, known in many countries as an
Educator, Doctor and Philanthropist.

children (aged 4-6) at Bilkent International College Erbil are asked to contact

In
preparation for the opening of the school in August 2010, Bilkent International
College Erbil has recruited excellent teachers from around the world. Any
suitably qualified candidates who may be interested in working with us in the
future are invited to send expressions of interest for the 2011/2012 Academic
